Ahad’s Success Story!
Ahad was diagnosed with a rare Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) known as TOF (Tetralogy Of Fallot). TOF is a heart defect that can be fatal if left untreated. The name refers to 4 heart problems which occur simultaneously, decreasing the amount of oxygen in the bloodstream.
Ahad’s planned treatment, a procedure called a Total Correction, is quite expensive and one that his family found unaffordable. Furthermore, the treatment wasn’t available in their hometown either.
Ahad’s father works as a peon at a government institution and solely supports his entire family, which includes his wife and 4 children. With limited resources at his disposal, he was in dire need of support for his brave, little son.
Ahad and his family were referred to us by a renowned Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon. Fortunately for them, with years of experience resolving similar cases, we were able to step in and make all the arrangements needed for Ahad’s heart surgery.
Thankfully, the required funds were swiftly arranged because of our remarkable donor base. Also, all hospital-related formalities were taken care of and accommodation was also provided to the whole family.
After the tremendous work of our entire team, including our amazing healthcare professionals, the surgery blessedly turned out to be a resounding success! Ahad was discharged as a 4-year-old CHD survivor with a great future awaiting him.
After praying day in and day out, the dreams of Ahad’s family have also come true. They’ll now be able to live a wonderful life alongside, the soon to be completely healthy, Ahad.
1 in 100 children are born with CHD, the world’s most common birth defect. We hope that success stories of children like Ahad, who can now live a normal life, inspire more people to join us on the journey to conquering CHD, helping us shape a brighter future.
