Ayesha’s Success Story!
At the tender of age of 3, little Ayesha was diagnosed with a rare Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) known as TOF – Tetralogy Of Fallot. TOF is a heart defect that can be fatal if left untreated. The name refers to 4 heart problems which occur at once, decreasing the amount of oxygen in the bloodstream. Symptoms include bluish skin colour, clubbed fingers, problems with eating, developmental delays etc.
Ayesha’s father is a labourer, who solely supports his whole family, which includes his wife and 4 children. With limited resources at his disposal, he desperately needed help to make arrangements for his daughter’s planned procedure, a Total Correction.
Thankfully, our phenomenal team stepped in and swiftly made all the necessary preparations. Ayesha’s heart surgery was a massive success and she defeated a life-threatening heart disease. Her family can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they can now live the life they always dreamed of.
