Mustafa’s Success Story!
The birth of a child is generally the happiest of occasions, filled with moments of pure bliss. Imagine being on the receiving end of devastating news right in the middle of all that. That’s exactly what happened to little Mustafa’s parents.
Mustafa was diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) known as CAVC – Complete Antrioventricular Canal Defect. This is a severe CHD in which there is a large hole in the tissue that separates the left and right sides of the heart. To make things worse he also had PHT – Pulmonary Hypertension, which is high blood pressure in the heart-to-lung system.
Mustafa’s father lives all the way in Saudi Arabia and works there as a driver. His mother is a housewife and he also has a brother. Being unable to afford the required procedure, a complete AV Canal repair, Mustafa’s father came to us in dire need of help.
Despite having a limited income, the family still managed to arrange a bit over half of the required funds. Thanks to our phenomenal donors, we arranged the rest. The next step was making preparations for the surgery.
